I'd ask HP or possibly in their forums about problems with the hardware.

This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
The battery power indicator on my Hp notebook was stuck at 100% and all the time shows same value even without battery. Also remaining time is incorrect! Due of this the laptop turns off 2-3 times, but when restarted the battery continues to work for 90 minutes.
Several times when I try to update the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery driver, the display is locking and the laptop is turned off itself.
I wonder, how can Windows system show 100% in the parameters of batteries when there is no battery in a laptop?
I could not find answer on this thread!
Does anyone know what could be the reason for such a problem in the battery or hardware?
Thanks.
