Hello,

I would like to have some details about interaction between DHCP and DNS.
If my knowledge is correct :

If I have DHCP failover with 2 standalone dhcp server I need to add both on DnsUpdateProxy group and use a dedicated account.
If I have DHCP failover installed on 2 DC I just need a dedicated account.

Am I right ?

Do I need other step ?
I read some documentation about naming protection. Is it necessary ? in both case ?

How do I need to do if I was in standalone DHCP (without the use of the DnsUpdateProxy group and dedicated account) and now I use DHCP failover with both options because all my records will not have the correct owner and my dhcp server will not be able to update them right ?

thanks for your answer
