How to check what causes the high vCPU quota

Currently, for a subscription, under a certain region, there is one type of vCPU 's quota is almost full. But, how to check what causes this high vCPU quota?
For example, Standard DSv4 Family vCPUs, in region East US 2 EUAP, in some Subscription, its usage is 90/100.

I checked the above information from:

  • Select one subscription
  • Settings
  • Usage + quotas
  • use the following filter
  • location: East US 2 EUAP
  • search: CPU

But I couldn't find more details about what are causing this high vCPU quota. (There are multiple developers across different groups may use this vCPU type in this region.)
So, how to check such information?

Thanks a lot!

    Hello @Wei Zhao ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A platform. Happy to answer your question.

I see you are referring to the usage of compute specific resource quota as highlighted below. This usage is nothing but number of vCPU cores allocated to each of the virtual machines that are created under this subscription of size standard B2 SKU for example.

You could check for the virtual machines blade with the filters shown in below screenshot as to know which VMs are using vCPUs under each size of VM. All the vCPU across the specific VM SKU sums up to the usage of vCPUs quota for each family size consumption shown in the above Usage+Quota blade
