I have tried to join the user with access keys and it will work for the initial time but once you restart the pc it will then not let the user in again. I gave the user Access Control (Contributor), is there something else I am missing? I am able to add myself without problems but I'm assuming that is because I am an admin.

@Aaron M Please let me know what commands/steps you followed to add this network drive. Please refer to this document which talks about adding persistent network drives and please see if that helps. If not, please do let me know. Thanks!

Mapped network drives. You can use the Persist parameter of New-PSDrive to create Windows mapped network drives. Unlike temporary PowerShell drives, Windows mapped network drives aren't session-specific. They're saved in Windows and they can be managed by using standard Windows tools, such as File Explorer and net use.

Please check this example: Create persistent and temporary drives. Hope this helps.

Please let us know if you have any further questions and we will be glad to assist you further. Thank you!
