Hello Teams Community,

Please I need your help on this issue.

My actual email is a professional admin account and I want to sign up with teams and use it.

I've purchased Microsoft 365 basic, but now I have this long confusing email ABC@xyz .onmicrosoft.com to use with teams and have others invite me.

Is there a way to not use onmicorosft.com email and just use my email I already have??

    Hi @IBN ,

Is there a way to not use onmicorosft.com email and just use my email I already have??

Do you mean you would like to use your custom domain for the email account? If this is the case, you can follow the instructions in the document below to change the email address to use your custom domain in the Microsoft 365 admin center:
Change your email address to use your custom domain using the Microsoft 365 admin center

    1. Go to the admin center at https://admin.microsoft.com using a global admin account.
    2. Go to the Settings > Domains page.
    3. On the Domains page, select Add domain.
    4. Follow the steps to confirm that you own your domain. You'll be guided to get everything set up correctly with your domain in Microsoft 365.
    5. Go to Users > Active users.
    6. Select a user to edit their username and change it to the domain you just added.
