Error while publishing: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'typeString')

Hi,

I just merged from Azure DevOps a pull request. This pull request contains some changes to an existing (huge) dataflow. The dataflow was accessible from the branch of the PR.

After merging the pull request, I went to the data factory's master branch to publish the changes and make a release to the production environment, but I got this error instead:

Error while publishing: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'typeString')

Also, from master I can't access the dataflow that received the changes. What is this issue and how do I solve it?

More details, now from master, the button Validate all does nothing. After you click it, it will do nothing.

I'm going to revert the merge of the PR for now but this is a serious issue that's preventing me from normally using Azure Data Factory.

Thank you for posting query in Microsoft Q&A Platform.

This kind of errors will come when there may be a broken resource in collaboration branch which is causing the issue. You can re-sync Git and Live mode by disconnecting and reconnecting Git. Please note that you would lose the differences between the two.

Kindly cross compare your resources and see if by any chance, any of component(dataset or linked service etc.) missing or deleted in Collaboration branch. That might be reason behind issue.

Please let us know how it goes.

I've checked and everything seems to be good. It's definitely something related to the dataflow. If I create a new branch from master and I create a new dataflow and paste the JSON of the dataflow I mentioned above, the error appears on the browser's console, as shown in the attached file.

Any other workarounds?
