Is Azure Monitoring and Azure Update Manager supported for Linux Centos Azure VM ?

i am aware that using Azure Monitor , we can monitor Azure VM. and also we can use the Update Manager to support the OS updates.

Is Azure Monitoring and Azure Update Manager supported for Linux Centos Azure VM ?

Hello, the full list of supported operating systems can be found at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/agents/agents-overview#linux. The CentOS ones are listed below.

Operating system	Azure Monitor agent	Log Analytics agent	Dependency agent	Diagnostics extension
CentOS Linux 8	X	X	X
CentOS Linux 7	X	X	X	X
CentOS Linux 6		X
CentOS Linux 6.5+		X	X	X

The Log Analytics agent is currently required for Azure Automation Update Management, but a combination of the Azure Monitor agent and Log Analytics agent maybe used to get full coverage of Azure Monitor features. This would be until we deprecate the Log Analytics agent and have full functionality consolidated into the Azure Monitor Agent.

Now i get that Azure monitor supports Centos.

What about Azure Update Manager. Does it support Linux Centos and what versions of Centos is supported ?

Azure Automation Update Management supports Windows and Linux on Log Analytics Agent supported operating systems. So yes it is, unless when you are referring to Azure Update Manager, you mean something different.
