Please vote for encoding detection from XML header in VSCode.

Question

VSCode currently doesn't support encoding detection from XML headers. There have been multiple attempts to get things implemented in the past years, but with actually zero output, e.g. because bugs have been closed for strange reasons etc. This is another attempt to get this pretty important feature into the product, so please interested people vote for the issue and at best the very useful additionally linked ones as well. :-) Thanks!
