    This can be done in the compliance module of Office 365

    In SharePoint Online, site owners do not have access to an audit log. If you have specific roles outlined in the below doc, you can search the unified audit log which covers all services in the M365 tenant.

    Quote from Microsoft, "To give a user the ability to search the audit log with the minimum level of privileges, you can create a custom role group in Exchange Online, add the View-Only Audit Logs or Audit Logs role, and then add the site owner as a member of the new role group."
