Remove Cloud Management Gateway Classic deployment model

Hope everyone doing well. Here we have an requirement to remove the CMG cloud classic deployment model.

Seems we have already have CMG VMSS configured to handle the internet clients. In our case, currently both CMG are handling the clients communication. The CMG Classic service deployment handling 1700 clients and CMG VMSS are handling 1900 clients.

Those are the below steps we are planning to execute the decommission the CMG classic service.

1. To remove the CMG connection point
2. To remove the application content from CMG (Cloud DP)
3. To remove the CMG classis service by doing the below

Navigate to \Administration\Overview\Cloud Services\Cloud Management Gateway
Click on Delete button from the ribbon menu to remove SCCM CMG

Please advise, am I good to execute the decommissioning steps? Also, clarify me once we remove old CMG classic model, All the clients handling by CMG classic model will automatically fallback to CMG VMSS deployment model?

Hi. Sounds about right. If you are managing VPN clients using CMG then you may have to adjust the BG.
