MS Teams infinite loop on sign-in

I have a problem with signing in to Teams. It occurs every day (the only workaround I found is removing cache and cookies, however, it is overhead... ). For example - when I change the wifi connection.

On Chrome 101.0.4951.54 ( Ubuntu 22.04 ):

When I launch Teams I end up in an infinite loop between teams.microsoft.com, login.microsoftonline.com and accounts.google.com. I did set up the sites that can always use cookies but it doesn't help:

The only solution is to remove all data/cookies.

Side note- In Chrome I can log in to Office365 like a charm. But when I click on teams from office365 panel, I end up in an infinite loop.

On the desktop version (MS Teams Preview on Ubuntu): Even worse, I end up in an infinite loop too. The only solution is to remove ~/.config/Microsoft.

Same issue on my iPhone (Teams App, iOS 15.4.1). After a few iterations between Teams and the Authenticator app, I am able to sign out and sign in again.

EDIT: it doesn't work on firefox neither

Any suggestions?

    Hi @Patryk

Welcome to Q&A forum and thanks for post your question here!

In fact, I also have the same questions a few days before and we stuck in login loop when using Teams web client. Here is our solution for this issue for your reference. It looks the same as yours.

    1) Go to settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data and we add the Sites [*.]teams.microsoft.com in Always clear cookies when windows are closed.
2)Close the browser and type teams.microsoft.com and you should login the account and it could work normally.

I notised the new feature to preload sites are active. That can in theory cause similar issues. Would you be kind to uncheck it, blear cookies and test again?

Remove all accounts from Windows settings > Accounts > Email & Accounts.
Search for Windows Credentials > Choose Windows Credentials > Remove all entries with a line meteams_
    Clear browser cache
Delete all the cookies etc data
Try to login to Teams again.

Hi @JimmyYang-MSFT I tried all above suggestion. Still the problem is not resolved.

    Any idea is welcome.

the funny thing is , the incognito Chrome is totally fine.

    Only regular chrome has issue.

I believe both browsers, share the same settings. Right ??
