Use Multiple API on COSMOS DB

Can I use SQL API and Mongo API simultaneously on the same COSMOS DB? If so, how can I setup the system. Thanks!

Hi Mike,
Unfortunatelly, you can't use multiple APIs to pull/push data from the same database.

Hi, @MikeZheng-3371 Thanks for the ask and for using the Microsoft Q&A platform.
As we understand you want to know if SQL API and Mongo API can be created on the same COSMOS DB.

Unfortunately, this future is not supported, we support only a single API for a single DB.there is no cross API support.
we would like to understand your use case for using two API on the same DB.

There is an existing system using SQL API for now. We're developing a new system that would like to use Mongo API. Both system are sharing the same COSMOS DB.

When Cosmos DB was first introduced there was the definitive goal to allow mixing and matching different API access for the same database.

I hope it is coming soon! Is it being worked on?
