ADF : Dynamic content in parameters related to a previous pipeline

Hello,

I am trying to pass text with dynamic content as a parameter from a previous pipeline into a Web Activiy on Azure Data Factory. I want the input of my Web Activity to be a parameter from another pipeline.

I don't want it to be manual like this :

Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

When you say I want the input of my Web Activity to be a parameter from another pipeline. - Do you mean that you are having two layered pipeline -> One is parent pipeline and you have an Execute pipeline activity in it and then pass a value from your parent pipeline to your child pipeline in which you would want to execute the Web activity and also use the parameter value in that web activity?

Could you please help me clarify the requirement so that we can better assist you?

Hello @Aicha Bayram

I believe you are using Execute pipeline to call another pipeline from the current pipeline

A similar kind of question was answered by @Nasreen Akter here

Can you try to pass the parameter value from your 1st pipeline to the Web Activity using the steps in the article I shared

There, you need to create Parent and Child Param and pass the Param from 1 pipeline to another

That should solve the issue
