Timed data driven Subscription Schedule in SSRS sends out duplicate emails

The Timed data driven subscriptions are being triggered multiple times a day. As per the schedule it should trigger once in a day. It was perfectly working till last month.

Up to 10 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 3.0 MiB each and 30.0 MiB total.

It looks like this can happen for a few reasons:

1) If the report server is being blocked as described here.

2) If one recipient has addresses in multiple (external) domains and the report is emailed to both addresses, that recipient will receive the report for each domain as described here.

You can use the following query to see if the server is sending multiple emails:

 select * from msdb.dbo.sysmail_allitems
 where subject = '<text>';

I've re-routed this thread to the SQL Server Reporting Services team for further assistance.

Hi @AtishReddy-8113

Please Check the recurrence on the Subscription in reporting services. Also enable verbose logging on report server while capturing the log file.
