SharePoint Server installation

Question

My company plan to install SharePoint on-premise to have many control on customzation. what version do you suggest? how many servers should we have? i am newbie to SharePoint on-premise, any insights is appricated.

I recommend you to install SharePoint Server 2019 if you can't use an online version.

I suggest you install SharePoint 2019.

Here're five sections to install SharePoint 2019.

1.Install and configure Hyper-V.
2.Install Windows Server 2019.
3.Install Active Directory Domain Services.
4.Install SQL Server 2017.
5.Install SharePoint 2019.
