Hello,

This is in regards to showing Bing maps in SSRS 2016 on the reporting server. I am able to use a TileLayer using spatial data on my SSRS IDE and able to generate maps on my local designer. Once I pushed this report on reporting server it initially gave proxy error. I tried to work this out but then using details given in following link https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/2621f107-6a50-49ca-a54b-54eef7484d91/map-component-unable-to-connect-to-the-remote-server?forum=sqlreportingservices

But now when I try to access the report in report manager it says operation timed out using the proxy mentioned. I am not able to see any Bing map call like ’dev.virtualearth.net’ from the reporting server. Am I missing some configurations on SSRS 2016 server for Bing maps?

Thanks
Nilesh

    Hi Nilesh,
    When you got error in report manager, what is the error detail info ?
    Could you show us some picture about it ? What is the error message in RS tracelog ?
    Also you could see in this two threads see if any helps: SSRS - 'Tile Server Timeout';
    Tile Servers timeout
    Regards,
    Joy
