I recently downloaded the authenticator app which is working as if it had only one of two legs. I'm limping along without it doing its autofill business for me but nonetheless I can enter the app and find the passwords. However, even more annoying than this is a floating icon that is on my home screen, floating itself into whatever space I need to work in, and therefore obstructing whatever action I take. How do I get rid of this? It only appeared after several days. I have a picture but apparently I can't upload it from my phone :-( .

Zeggy 0 Reputation points2024-08-25T19:12:58.91+00:00 I have the same problem with the floating authenticator button and it doesn't seem to have any purpose whenever I try tapping on it doesn't open or do anything so annoying I'm going to turn off this shortcut for this app because theres no function to use the button

Will admit I turned it on just just messing around wondering what the settings did - then feeling like a real idiot unable to find the settings again?! Don't you just love all the people here who can't admit they screwed up publicly? "I just woke up one morning and it was like that"😜 yeah, righto mate we ALL believe you lmao 🤣🤣 Thanks EVER.so much anyway, I'd taken three runs through settings list must have skipped that one somehow. Bloody detest Android phones anyway, especially these Nokia, can only strongly recommend against buying one if anyone is considering it

Does not seem to have any function (tapping/touching doesn't do anything). Appears on all screenshots and gets in the way. I'm going to totally get rid of the app if I can't get an answer.
