Hyper-V event ID 18590

Hi everyone,

I have a Dell T640 server with Windows server 2012 R2 enabled with Hyper-v.

There are repeatedly event ID 18590 occures with a Linux VM in the Hyper-V-Worker/Admin event log.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

    Hello David,

    Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having issues related event ID 18590 in Hyper-V

    It looks like a bad CPU throwing a series of errors that is unrecoverable. If it is a Dell run a full hardware diagnostic test and see if it can find anything.

    Try to Update BIOS and all Dell Hardware drivers as Dell T640 is very old model.
