Hi Team,

i am trying to create a Az-VirtualHub using Powershell script, but i am getting below error

New-AzVirtualHub : Long running operation failed with status 'Failed'. Additional Info:'An error occurred.'
StatusCode: 200
ReasonPhrase: OK
Status: Failed
ErrorCode: InternalServerError
ErrorMessage: An error occurred.

Internal server errors use to be related to transient platform issues, can you try again or use a different region as test?

i changed to North Europe, it was created successfully. After sometime again i tried with West Europe, i am getting same error

Could you please check on it. why its failing in west Europe. My Requirement was to create in West Europe

I understand that you are trying to create a Virtual Hub using PowerShell script in West Europe region on an existing Virtual WAN and it is failing with an InternalServerError.

I tried to create a Virtual Hub in my lab on an existing Virtual WAN and below are the commands that I used and they completed successfully:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/az.network/new-azvirtualhub?view=azps-7.5.0

Could you please use the below commands and try again?

$virtualWan = Get-AzVirtualWan -Name "NameofVWan" -ResourceGroupName "testRG1"  
New-AzVirtualHub -VirtualWan $virtualWan -ResourceGroupName "testRG1" -Name "testVWan1" -AddressPrefix "10.78.252.0/24" -Location "West Europe"

and also i checked in the ActivityLog in ResourceGroup. i got below error message

and in the detail error is

Hello @Govindaswamy, Baskar ,

I created a Virtual WAN in West Europe and used the above mentioned PowerShell commands to add a Virtual Hub and it was added successfully. I didn't encounter any issues.

Could you please check if there is an overlap of address space anywhere in your setup with the address space of the Virtual Hub that you are trying to add?
Also, what is the version of PowerShell you are using? Did you try to add this Virtual Hub via any other way like Azure Portal or Azure CLI?
