External users in our SharePoint Online (granted access via a link) need to authenticate every time they sign on. How to fix this so they need to authenticate only once a week?
(External users granted access on the site do not have this issue, the issue arises only for users who were granted access via a shared link).

Would you please share the procedure you use to grant access to external users?

Do all external users have the same experience?

What permission does the external user have on the site?

The issue arises for users who were granted access via a shared link. (If we share a site with external users they do fine)

Yes, all external users who were granted access via shared link have this issue.
