Configure Sharepoint 2019 Incoming mail to use Office 365 for Mail enabled Lists.

I have a SharePoint 2019 server with mail enabled lists that we would like to setup using our Office 365 tenant as the sending mail server.

What needs to be configured on SharePoint to pickup the emails coming from O365?

I have SMTP server running on the SharePoint server and can manually place an email in the C:\Inetpub\mailroot\Pickup folder and it will move to the drop folder and process the email.

Just not sure how to get an email from O365 to send to the pickup folder.

May I know what your environment is like? Is it hybrid? How did you configure incoming email for sharepoint server 2019 farm?
