Revisit Can the Shell32.dll be used in the IIS environment? in VS2022.

The issue has been resolved in VS2019 when I posted an issue how to use Shell32.dll. The answer (sample code) is in my https://github.com/d052057/ShellTestAPI.

Recently, I update the code to VS2022 and it BROKE (with dotnet core 6). Same error code. See my git https://github.com/d052057/Shell32APITestCore6

The logic is still the same with the logic in VS2019....

Any one or Microsoft GURU has any ideas...

Maybe the problem can be solved without Shell32?

i don't know the other way around to get rid of this shell32.dll. I would applause Msft if they can provide programmers a different way to do it.

They can. However they are too big to move around. It take too long to fix one little thing.
I know I have to pay them... to get it resolved. Long time ago... I get an issue with <input type='button'> with click event. Once in a while, it just doesn't work. I pulled my hair and my company decided to call Msft (I think it cost $250 per incident). It turned out the they have issue internally behind the code and they asked to use <button> instead and it fixed the issue.

This issue is the same thing. The asp.net core 5 work with vs2019. After the conversion to dotnet core 6 vs2022, it DOESN'T WORK. I did provide both of my source code here with my question.
I think this place isn't the place to report a bug but for people helping people issues.

I don't think this is going help me any thing. It is a distraction from my issue.

Here is the error:
Unable to cast COM object of type 'System.__ComObject' to interface type 'Shell32.Shell'. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{286E6F1B-7113-4355-9562-96B7E9D64C54}' failed due to the following error: No such interface supported (0x80004002 (E_NOINTERFACE)).

The version of shell32.dll is 1.0 that comes with my machine (Windows 10 and Windows 11).
I look around about the shell32.dll versions... I found that version 1 isn't the latest.

Therefore, What is the latest official version of SHELL32.DLL I can download from Microsoft Website.
