Outlook on the Web Desktop Notifications not working

We are a 365 GCC tenant.

Desktop notifications are not working for web outlook, you hear the sound but no notification.I have exhaustively tested all browsers, different accounts, different computers, personal unmanaged computers, etc. This appears to be a back-end issue. Any other desktop notification work fine, outlook.com, gmail, etc.It is interesting how the sound comes across though so it is like the push notification is not pushing the desktop notification.I do have a ticket open but wondering if anyone has seen this recently. We are in the process of migrating to 365 and have come across this issue. Thanks

    Hello @rvtdadmin

    Thank you for your feedback,

I am wondering if you have use the Task Manager on the browser itself and check the process for the services stated before outlook and so on...

Looking forward to your reply back,

    BR,

    @rvtdadmin

Here is the testing for "Office 365 Worldwide" + New Edge browser on Windows 11. I think it is similar to GCC:

Make sure the "Notifications" are enabled for "outlook.office.com" first.

Then enable the "Desktop notifications" from OWA settings (I only enable the notification for emails that sent to Inbox folder):

    Here is the result:

Here is detailed information about it: OWA web push notifications

Microsoft has at least confirmed for me that this is a bug and not only affecting our tenant. They were not sure if anyone was working on it but the assigned agent was going to get a bug report in and try to escalate the issue.
We were going all Outlook web for our migration to 365 so we are delaying our migration due to this.

This is still an open ticket with MS.

Can someone with a GCC Tenant test Outlook on the Web desktop notifications?
I've had one other person state it is not working on their tenant either.

    Appreciate the help!

After a 3 month long ticket and this getting escalated to the product team we have been told Outlook on the Web desktop notifications are not intended to work with GCC tenants.
There is no documentation and it took that long and escalations to get that response.

This is the response from the escalation team when asking for documentation.
"There really is no documentation that exists regarding this. There are a significant number of small features missing from O365 that are not documented. This feature was not deemed large enough to warrant creating exclusive documentation.".

For us and I would assume for others email notifications are a significant functional feature.
They just told us to leave feedback but GCC accounts are locked out of feedback..
