SCCM environment with Two Site Codes

I built a new SCCM environment with new site code(CMB) to replace the current SCCM environment with site code(CMA). However, I keep receiving the error "WSUS Synchronization failed. Message WSUS update source not found on the site CMB". After some troubleshooting, I found that all new SCCM servers still pointed to the current site code(CMA) because I have a group policy to force all machines point to the current site CMA. I modified the registry key on new servers, but it didn't work as that group policy change the registry key value back. Is there anyway to force all new SCCM servers point to the new site CMB without touching the group policy?

No, you will need to fix the GPO first.

    Hi @SJU2402 ,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft MECM Q&A forum.

Agree with @Garth Jones here. You need to change the Group Policy first. Otherwise, by default, Group Policy refreshes in the background every 90 minutes, and this will change the registry key value back and let it point to the current site CMA.

Hope it helps. Thanks for your time.

    Best regards,
    Simon
