Hello,
I tried to log into outlook with my email, and it asked for verification of my identity, I chose to do so by downloading the Microsoft authenticator app on my phone(which is a samsung galaxy), the problem is I tried to add my email but I keep getting a message that says my microscoft email does not exist.

I need to add my email to the app so that I can get a code to verify my identity and check my emails. Its also vital that I can get this sone because this email was given by my uni and I need it for outlook and Microsoft teams (for freshers/ orientation week and future lectures which will be online due to Covid-19).

Side note: I had the app on my mum's phone working successfully but I deleted it so I could download it on my phone which lead to this whole situation.
