Teams linux client "Chat density" setting

Is there any way to change chat density on the linux client? It would be great if we could change this option in chats like we can in Windows.
I really wish this setting could also be applied to "Teams" as well as chat globally on all platforms.

Are you referring to the "Chat density" setting mentioned in this article? If this is the case, I checked it in my Teams for Linux (1.5.00.10453) on Ubuntu 20.04.2 and the setting is available there:

The information in this link also indicates that the Chat density setting is available in Teams on Linux:
("X" means the platform is supported.)

So could you just go to the ellipsis (...) menu next to the profile picture, select Settings > General and check it on your end? And if I have misunderstood anything, feel free to post back.

According to Microsoft 365 roadmap, this feature is still in the stage of "Rolling Out" which means it hasn't been available to all applicable customers:

This is all I see in mine. Could I be missing some library or dependency that causes it to be missing or maybe administratively disabled?

What I meant by

Is that currently "Chat density" only applies to: left panel "Chat" icon > "Recent" > "Chat".
I would like it to apply to: left panel "Teams" icon > "Your teams" > "Posts" area also.

As far as I know, the feature doesn't require any additional library or dependency, and there's no admin settings available for this feature either.

However, after further research, I noticed from the information in the Microsoft 365 roadmap below that currently this feature is still in the stage of "Rolling Out", which means it has not yet available to all applicable customers. So you might need to wait for some more time for the feature to be rolled out to your account. (I'll edit my post above to include these findings as well so it could be easier for others reading this thread to see the information.)

Thanks @Josh Catana for the clarification. At present, this setting is only available on 1:1 Chats and Meetings, and does not impact posts in Channels of a team or other Teams experiences.

Found a similar feature request submitted in the dedicated feedback portal for Microsoft Teams and I've added my vote for it. I'll share the link below so that you or other community users can also add vote or comment there. Hopefully this can be improved in the near future.

My version has not changed, but yes, I now have the capability in my settings.
