GPO for trusted location not works with Office 2019

Good day.
Added GPO settings for Word and Excel for adding trusted location:
User Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Microsoft Word 2016\Word Options\Security\Trust Center\Trusted Locations - Allow Trusted Locations on my network (Enabled)
And \Trusted Location #1: \\DS916\Folder
The same with Excel.
After gpupdate i see the changes in registry on all computers, but this only works on Word and Excel 2016 but not works on Word and Excel 2019.
Why?

Thx for any advice

Hi @AndreyLutsenko-0673,
What version of Office 2019 are you using?
As far as I know, the Administrative Template files (ADMX/ADML) for Office 2019 can work with Volume licensed versions of Office 2019, Project 2019, and Visio 2019.
I suggest you check if the Office 2019 version is correct.
I also suggest you download the latest version of Administrative Template files:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49030

Office 2019 Home and Business is not the volumne license version. This might be the reason of cannot use GroupPolicy for Office 2019.

@emizhang-msft,
If that's the case, then it's terrible. Install Office 2016 for users again? :(
I can use GPO for Office 2019, the data in registry changed via GPO. Its only Office 2019 not reading the changes in registry.

Hi AndreyLutsenko-0673,

You will need to download and install the more up to date Group Policy Administrative Templates (ADMX) to manage Microsoft Office 2019 settings:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49030

Extract the downloaded GPO template file. The archive contains:

The admin directory – contains a set of OPAX/OPAL files to configure Office deployment options using the Office Customization Tool (OCT). In our case this folder is not used;

The admx directory – contains a set of ADMX and ADML files for the Group Policy Editor;

office2016grouppolicyandoctsettings.xlsx file – Excel file with the description of all Group Policies and matches between GPO options and registry keys for Office apps. This XLSX file can be used as a reference for the available Office Group Policy options.

I hope this answers your question.

Hello @LimitlessTechnology-0326!
The latest templates are downloaded and installed before i made new GPO policy.
205909-office2.jpg

New directory for last templates was created as \\DOMAIN\SYSVOL\DOMAIN\Policies\PolicyDefinitions-20H2\, here i copied the Office templates and last Windows templates.
And i see on ALL computers new changes in regedit but only Office 2016 can accept these changes, but Office 2019 dont accept the registry data.
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\office\16.0\excel\security\trusted locations
and trusted locations like:
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\office\16.0\excel\security\trusted locations\location1
allowsubfolder: 1
path: \\storage\filestorage
