Hi,

I am planning to build a system which has to be selled to an end user (a costumer).

It should be a Lenovo Thinksystem ST250, running 2 VMs on Hyper-V. One of them will act as RDS machine.

As first I would buy a Windows Server 2022 Standard ROK Lenovo license.

The customer owns some RDS User CAL 2019 so the idea is to run the RDS server on Windows Server 2019 in order to migrate them without buying them again.

The question is:

Does the Lenovo part number 7S05006BWW (Windows Server Standard 2022 to 2019 Downgrade Kit-Multilanguage ROK) grant the rights to install the operating system as described? The product can be found at this page: lp1079-microsoft-software-solution-product-guide

Thanks for answering

You'll need to ask their trained microsoft licensing specialist about details for the products they sell.

Also if you find its possible then I'd get the seller to provide the downgrade product keys since contacting microsoft these days is near impossible.
