Protecting AKS in HCI with MABS

I am testing using Azure Backup Server inside of an HCI cluster in order to protect VMs and have the backups stored in Azure RSV. I would also like a way to protect the Azure Kubernetes Services using the MABS server but it doesn't look like that is possible with MABS. Is there another way to protect AKS on HCI?

    @Christopher Schwarz (Group) ,

    That's correct, It is not possible to backup AKS nodes using MABS. You can check the following document link for guidance around performing workload cluster backup or restore using Velero and Azure Blob storage on Azure Stack HCI

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure-stack/aks-hci/backup-workload-cluster

    Hope this helps!
