Teams not displaying in search without going to a specific tab

When our team searches in Team we get an error saying Something went wrong while loading the results.

If you click on the messages or people tab then the search shows results. Is there an issue with the 4-17-22 update causing this error?

We cannot be the only ones having this issue. Please help.

How did you use the search in Teams client? Could you describe the steps to us?

Do you mean you cannot see the search result after typing the key word?

Do you have the same problem in Teams web client?

This is in the app and simply just searching from the search bar within the app.
Steps:

Click the search bar

type in the inquiry

hit enter

The Search tab opens and I get the error.

If you search the user in your organization, will it work for you?

It appears that the Search function has been restored. This must have been an update from Microsoft. Because this was a 365 wide issue. It was happening in SharePoint as well. Thank you, we recieved this answer from the Azure team.

Hi good day, we are currently experiencing the same issue on our enterprise network. The teams search has not been able to work since around July 2024.

I have been able to restore the search function by reverting a previous known working standalone .exe installation however our Management console automatically updates the version and we lose the search functionality company wide.

Can you please provide clarity to whether or not this is update related? Version are posted below.

Older Version (Working) - 24152.415.2975.367

Update Versions - 24335.208.3315.1951.
