I tested on several Android device and was able to reproduce this issue.
This feature seems to work fine on Teams application for Windows and IOS.Currently this issue is under investigation, if there are any updates, I will post back at the first time.
Thanks for your understanding and sorry for the inconvenience caused.If it is possible, please use Teams application for Windows as a workaround.
