Hi

I have now try tree times to create a Virtual Private Gateway, to test some P2S stuff.
The gateway is creating just fine, but i can't save Point to Site configuration.

Its keep saying:
Failed to save virtual network gateway
Failed to save virtual network gateway 'KEDA-P2S'. Error: The operation failed due to following errors: 'One or more operations failed'.

And I can't find out what operations that have failed :(.

Have anyone seen this error before, or can someone help me found out what operations that have failed?

Regards Kenneth

Hello @Kenneth Dalbjerg , Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

As per my understanding of the question you have deployed an Azure VPN Gateway and when you are trying to save the P2S configuration you are getting an error The operation failed due to following errors: 'One or more operations failed'.
Since the error received does not help pinpoint the issue. Can you try below mentioned steps and see if they help identify the issue.

    • As this might be a transient portal error, can you try adding the P2S config using PowerShell commands? and see if this helps in resolving the issue. You can follow this tutorial here. If you do not have PowerShell set-up in your local machine you use Cloud Shell to run these commands.
    • You can set-up diagnostic logging for your Gateway and see if you can find any additional details regarding this issue under GatewayDiagnosticLog. If possible you can also try resetting the Gateway, but this might disrupt other connections on your gateway if any.
    • A direct approach here will be to create a support request for this scenario, as a support engineer can have a deeper look at your set-up and check backend logs to troubleshoot this issue. Please refer to my private message below if you do not have a support plan.

Hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!

We found the issues. (I think :)).

At the office there where a S2S connection to the same Azure Gateway.

So when the client is trying to use P2S vpn, from the office it will fault, because Azure gateway is seeing that from this IP address we have an S2S connection, and therefor will match the S2S settings, and not the P2S settings.

The Azure subscription, is not under our control.

We have got the partner, to setup the S2S tunnel, so it also included the server, that the clients need to use P2S to.
