How to configure AAD Connect to sync between local AD and Azure AD

We are working on implementing the Workday to Active directory Connect for automatic user provisioning. We are following the below delivered solution.

We have completed the provisioning between WD and AD. Now we want to sync the data between local AD and Azure AD through Azure AD Connect app. Could someone please share the insights/guidelines to implement the same as we don't find right documentation from Microsoft anywhere.

There are a lot of walk through videos on installing AD Connect.
Here is one I found that does a great job on the walk through.
Don’t forget:- you need the Global Admin account to install AD Connect.
- The video doesn’t mention that you should install AD Connect on 2 of your domain controllers for redundancy.
