Unable to connect to the server and open web app

hello team,

I faced a challenge which appears to be auto resolved yet I feel its important I understand how to resolve it in the future. I had a situation that lasted for around 30 - 45mins where a web application that is hosted in an Azure cloud was unreachable. I tried to connect to the virtual server via remote desktop and I was able to and I was getting error 0x204 as in attached screenshot on the other hand I was able to access the server via Azure portal where I could run several troubleshooting but all seemed to be OK. I performed a restart twice via portal but it was the same experience thou later on, the app was back available so as remote desktop access. If someone can help to clarify what was the issue and how best I can promptly resolve it next time. Thanks.

Firstly, apologies for the delay in responding here and any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

Glad to know that the issue is resolved. However, you want to know the actual reason on why and what caused this issue to be prepared for such incidents in the future.
It would be a good start to get the time stamp and other details to first troubleshoot the issue by a support engineer. Support team can analyze the logs and let you know the exact reason this intermit issue.

As this issue needs deeper investigation, I would recommend you to open a azure support case.
