Hi,
we started to deploy in our AD Windows 11 clients and we have problem with it, windows version is 21H2 22000.675 the problem is that clients do not update its IP addresses in domain DNS, they all have connection with domain DNS, gpupdate /force is executed without problems. Computers getting IP from DHCP, and ipconfig /all give information that our domain suffix is assigned to this connection also.
If I manually delete an old entry in domain DNS for that computer and on the client I do: ipconfig /registerdns then computer is registered on DNS but only once this not fix anything.
Computers have intel i225-v ethernet cards, so I updated drivers to the latest and then reboot computers - but this also didn't help.

W don't have such problems with Windows 10 machines on the same lan network (using the same dhcp).
Event viewer give EventID 8018 errors. Could you give me any recommendations how to fix this?

It may be a better option to let the DHCP server do the registrations.

    Hello,

When updating the host record, DHCP server searches for a DNS server which is authoritative for the zone matching the domain name of DHCP client.

So if DHCP client is a member of abc.subhro.com domain, DHCP server will look for a DNS server which is authoritative for the zone abc.subhro.com.

If DHCP client is a member of subhro.com domain, DHCP server will look for a DNS server which is authoritative for the zone subhro.com.

Even if we specify a different domain name in DHCP scope option 15 (DNS Domain Name), this behavior would not change. We have tested this point.
