Edge MacOS - Minimized Windows are not restored - HELP

Hi,

I'm running MS Edge 92.0. (do not want to update until resolved) on MacOS Big Sur 11.5.2 on a Macbook Air M1.

From time to time (not common), my Macbook crashed upon Wake from sleep - Instead of waking up, a black screen with only the cursor left occurs.
Any time this happened, I was able to restart Edge and completely restore the previous session, inlcuding all Windows and Tabs via CMD-Shift-T.
To unclutter my screen and speed up the Macbook, I minimized all Edge-Windows but the one I was working on.

Now the error happened again, but in contrast to the past, Edge restored ONLY the windows of the last session which were non-minimized! I have lost a large amount of research.

The same happened in Safari - CMD-Shift-T only restored the focussed window, but "restoring the previous session" completely reopened also the minimized windows.

How can i restore my previous Session, also the minimized Windows? I can only find an option to restore the previous Tab, but not the previous Session.
Also, in which file is the "previous session" stored on Mac OS?

Yes, I am also using favourites to store the important pages, but this time I lost a lot. Help?

    Hi @BigLebowsky-6576 ,

I tested in Microsoft Edge version 101.0.1210.53 in Windows 10, and I found that the restore pages feature works fine in Edge.

To unclutter my screen and speed up the Macbook, I minimized all Edge-Windows but the one I was working on.

I think you mean you have multiple Edge windows open instead of one window with multiple pages. If this is the case, this result is normal behavior in Edge.

When opened multiple Edge windows and the process is terminated in an abnormal way (such as a crash), using the restore page function will only restore focussed window and its pages as a new window.

When you open an Edge window with multiple pages, and the program ends in an abnormal way, using this function, you can restore the window and its all pages as a new window.

You can try CMD+shift+T multiple times to restore more closed Edge windows, that should work for you.
