VS CODE Live Share: Participants cannot run code

Hi, for Live Share python, participant cannot run code, and extensions including code runner by Jun Han doesn't seem to work. When i press trust workspace as a participant, errors pop up and extension fails to work. Is this normal? Only the host seems to be able to run the code, participants can write but no run button.

At 2 mins and 14 sec, the participant screen here has a run button. How do i get this and run code as a participant on Live Share?
