Can you let us konow which version of Office 2019 are you using now?
- If you are using volumn licensed Office Standard 2019 or Office Professional Plus 2019, please contact IT in your organization to check whether the VBA is blocked.
- If you are using retail Office 2019, such as Office Home & Student 2019, Office Home & Business 2019, it's best to
click File in Word > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Macro Settings, make sure the VBA is not disabled.
Besides, I suggest you run Word in safe mode to check this issue.
- You can hold on Ctrl key, click or double-click Word icon, until Word you to start it in safe mode, then please release Ctrl key and click "Yes".
- Then please create a new blank document.
- If this issue does not reproduce in safe mode, please go to
File > Options > Add-ins > Manage, COM add-ins > Go, clear the check boxes for any enabled COM add-ins, select OK. - Restart the Word and create new documents to have a look.
If the steps above do not work, I suggest you perform an Online Repair for Office from Control Pannel.
