Dear Experts,

I am planning to set up Always on Availability groups and so build 1 Domain controller, 2 servers.

Totally for 3 servers, how can I use something like Windows Server standard edition instead of the 180 day evaluation version.

Is there any way by which we can get some kind of developer edition for windows similar to getting something like SQL Server developer edition?

Or is it possible to buy from Microsoft few licenses for study purposes at a subsidized rate?

Thanks

Adding to @Anonymous 's answer, a Visual Studio Community Edition subscription includes everything you need to setup a personal home lab to learn Availability Groups. The subscription benefits include subscriber downloads and keys for Windows Server OS, licensed for non-production use. All you need is the hardware.

Yes, you can use visual studio subscription benefits for this purpose which is what I do.
