Hide Teams channel for specific user

Is there a way to hide a channel and its content from members within that team?

    Depends on what you mean by "hide". You can remove a channel from the view, by going to Manage team > Channels > toggle the checkbox under the Show for members column. This however only hides the channel from the nav pane, users can still access it by hitting the "X hidden channels" entry.
    If you want to create a channel that only specific people can access, use a Private channel instead.
