teams external problem - Showing unavailable

Hello Teams Community,

Please i need your help on this issue.

I am showing unavailable for one of my external user.

    Hi @IBN ,

    This typically happens when external user's tenant is set to the Islands mode.

    In Islands mode, all messages and calls from federated users (people outside your organization) are delivered to Skype for Business. After upgrading to Teams Only mode, all messages and calls from outside your organization are delivered to Teams

    So, Teams Only mode is the key to success.

    Hi @IBN

    Please check if you meet the following requirements:

    • Open Federation is enabled in both tenants.
    • Tenant or user is configured for Coexistance Mode "TeamsOnly".
    • The federated / External user is also configured for Coexistance Mode "TeamsOnly".
    • The setting "EnablePrivacyMode" part of "PrivacyConfiguration" is set as enabled(true) in one of the tenants.
    • Both users have added themselves in the contact list of each other.
