Have you tried following this documentation? - install-azure-cli-linux
The apt package manager contains the azure cli package for the following "tested" Ubuntu versions - LTS (Bionic Beaver), 20.04 LTS (Focal Fossa), 21.10 (Impish Indri), 22.04 (Jammy Jellyfish).
Have you tried to manually install it using the step by step procedure mentioned here?
I was not able to repro this scenario in my lab due to some constraints, but I look forward to hearing from you. Please tag me in your response.
