Hi.

Once I check available sleep states in my laptop(Lenov0 E490/Windows10) with "powercfg"
I got a message as below.

The following sleep states are available on this system:
    Standby (S3)
    Hibernate
    Hybrid Sleep

The following sleep states are not available on this system:
    Standby (S1)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.

    Standby (S2)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.

    Standby (S0 Low Power Idle)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.

    Fast Startup
This action is disabled in the current system policy.

I'd like to change Standby (S3) to moder standby(S0 IDLE)
I'm not sure that Modern standby support depends on HW Requirements, CPU,ACPI Register Set or Manufacutuer.
Is there any way to change modern standby from Standby(S3) ?

If you have an idea about it, Please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

This means Modern Standby is not supported on the system. This feature is usually available in 2-in-1 convertible devices.

    Thanks for your reply.

I had checked status by PowerCfg tool and command prompt and Modern Standby is not supported in my laptop.
Modern-Standby need to be supported on Motherboard settings like ACPI or BIOS what I want to know.

If Modern-Standby has HW dependency, I would like to know what needs such as HW specifications.
I didn't found any information for now.

Is there any specific requirement for Modern-Standby mode ?

HW, Motherboard, BIOS and ACPI Table settings etc ...

    Thanks
