Windows 10 Pro build 2004 problems

I hope you guys are doing well, and i appreciate any help or advice given regarding my problem.

So i have a laptop that's running windows 10 pro x64.
Last May i received a notification about the new build 2004, that it will be available soon to me, once it is compatible with my laptop or something.
Last month, on August 15th, i saw that it is available to download and install build 2004 from the windows update.
I was excited of course, and i downloaded it and it got installed with no problems.

But i started seeing problems, especially with microsoft apps, like mail, store, xbox and also the search bar. Problems regarding connecting to the internet and syncing i suppose. For example, it takes at least 5-30 mins syncing so i can see any new emails. Also in the search bar, when i search for something, it takes long time to get the result and sometimes i just give up, as it takes more than 5 mins to search.

So i decided to revert to the older build, but i didn't know about the 10 days thing.

So any idea on how to solve that ?

P.S. i called microsoft customer service and we tried re-installing the update, but also nothing happens. Same problem.

I'd check with the laptop manufacturer to see if there are know issues with 2004 update. Also check for newer firmware, ROM bios, chipset and driver support pack availability. As to reverting to an older build from what you described you may need to clean install it using the manufacturer supplied installation media.
