Can we create AKS cluster and service with 1 year free subscription?

Can we create Kubernete cluster and service with 1 year free subscription?

When I try to create a Kubernete cluster , I am getting an error "This size is currently unavailable in this location for this subscription" in the node size selection. Tried with several regions and am getting the same error. I now suspect my subscription.

Can anyone explain what I am missing here, please?

    From my understanding - that means - you'll get those $200 for your first 30 days then you change into "pay as you go" and have a monthly budget that can be spend on AKS...

    But unfortunately, you have to pay for that service and it is NOT free that's why you cant deploy it.
