hi there,

I have a column, let's name it A, that contains text like this: UUUUUUUUUUU 234.00 - 345.00, UUUUUU, and two columns, B and C which contain numbers to replace 234.00 and 345.00. 234.00 and 345.00 are samples, sometimes, they are integers or decimals. UUUUU are just random text in front and behind.

thank you very much,

Sheldon

    Hi,
Are you trying to replace 234.00 and 345.00 in column A with the numbers in column B?
You can use the Find and Replace function, press Ctrl+H to open the Find and Replace dialog box, select the corresponding text in Find what, and select the number you want to replace in Replace with.
