Hi.

I attempted to download pirated software and accidentally installed a nasty virus on my computer. This virus was actually really sophisticated and can evade many antivirus software. I thought a complete re-installation of windows 11 was necessary. When I completed the installation and installed ALL my necessary drivers I still noticed some odd symptoms on my computer. Every time when I check task manger my cpu drops as if a virus is hiding itself. Another reason is that antivirus softwares seem to be impossible to download.

Many people say that I’m experiencing symptoms because of my firmware and drivers installing but I made sure that everything is installed already. Some people even told me to run windows defender scan even though that’s the first thing I did. Can someone please help me find a solution?

Firstly, we have to make sure to detect all malicious applications from the website and download.
In this case, try visit the following website:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/support/report-unsafe-site/
And submit the URL of the infected website and the download.
In case you have the sample of the infected website, try submitting it to the following website:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/filesubmission
When the sample is available the Microsoft Anti-Malware team would be able to analyze it and release signature to detect it (even if it is undetectable).
Normally, when you perform a format and reinstall, the traces of malwares should be removed.
I advise you to update Windows and update Microsoft Defender and run a full system scan with it.
You may perform scan with Microsoft Defender Offline too, have a look at:

If you want to make sure that the computer is clean you can overwrite the drive running disk sanitizer or secure erase equivalents.
These make sure that nothing can be recovered from the disk drive.
With a clean drive then clean install Windows 11.
For drivers only install drivers displayed on the computer or motherboard manufacturer websites.
    Then make free backup images.

Once you've made free backup images you can move in any direction knowing that you can always restore an image.
(Acronis, Aoemi, EaseUS, Macrium, Paragon, etc.)

Hi. Sorry for the late reply.

Can you provide any service names that can clean up my computer please?
Will this also guarantee complete removal of the virus?

    Thank you for your response.
