Hi Everyone

i am using exchange 2016 hybrid environment. i have a shared mailbox lets say sm1@Company portal .com which is created in exchange onprem and migrated to exchange online. i want to set forwarded on the shared mailbox to an external email lets say ******@somedomain.com( i have a contact created for this). when i check shared mailbox -->mailbox features-->mailflow-delivery options-there is already another forwarder set to another external email i.e ******@somedomain.com. Now my requirement is to have two forwarders setup on this shared mailbox. experts can this be achieved by transport rule, if so please help me with the transport rule and should this transport rule be created in both onprem and online?

Create a distribution group instead and create mail-enabled contacts for each of those external addresses. Set the forwarding to that group on that mailbox in Exchange Online.
