Hi, how can I set up the current navigation so that I can customize it on each page, rather than only on the parent site? So each page within the parent site would have the option of having different links in the current navigation.

    Hi @Soon
So far, there is no such function, we cannot provide different current navigation for different pages.
Such a requirement can only work for different subsites at the moment, we can set up different current navigation for different subsites.

    1. Go to Gear Icon > Site Settings > Navigation (under Look and Feel)
    2. Under Current Navigation Section, do not select “Display the same navigation items as the parent site” radio button.

Also, I would suggest you submit a feedback to the SharePoint UserVoice Platform if there any expectation about the future version of SharePoint:
