windows.open()can't open popup window in Edge IE mode? I test with code like below and it works well in Edge IE mode. I can't reproduce the issue.
Could you please provide a minimal code snippet which can reproduce the issue? Then we can have a test and see how to help. Thanks for your understanding.

It's not a source problem, it's a PC problem.

I test with the naver site using IE mode. It can work properly and can open links in new tabs. I can't reproduce the issue.
How do you configure IE mode sites? Do you configure it using group policy or anything else? Which version of OS and Edge are you using? -

Microsoft Edge 102.0.1245.41 (Official Build) (64-bit)
The problem does not occur on all Windows 11, it is only happening on this PC
Looking at the photo above, it seems that the page does not load in IE mode when the link is selected. There is no IE icon in the 2nd photo. -

How do you open the site in IE mode? Do you configure group policy to use IE mode? If so, could you please provide the screenshot of this page edge://compat/iediagnostic?
Or do you click the setting
to load the site in IE mode? -

Could you please try to reinstall IE mode in Windows features according to the following steps then test again to see if it works?
- Open windows setting, and choose
Apps. - Select
Optional featuresin the list on the right. - Click
view featurein optionadd an optional feature. - Type
Internet Explorerin textbox. - Select checkbox of
Internet Explorer mode. - Click Next and then install.
- Restart your computer.
- Open windows setting, and choose

I tried your method, but it didn't solve it.
It only happens in Edge IE mode.
It works normally in IE Mode of the web browser.
It is judged as an error in Edge IE mode.
It doesn't seem to be resolved. -

As the issue only happens on certain PC, I think it's more related with it's environment. There might be many causes of the issue, we can't identify without knowing the real environment of the machine. Sometimes even a reinstallation is needed for the machine.
